The California Housing Finance Agency launches the Keep Your Home web site: CalHFA's efforts to help struggling homeowners have recently been boosted with nearly $700 million in new federal funding through the U.S. Treasury's Housing Finance Agency Innovation Fund. The Obama Administration has directed CalHFA to submit program proposals to assist California homeowners who are unemployed, have reduced property values, severely underwater mortgages or adjustable rate mortgages. CalHFA has developed a web site for these programs called 'Keep Your Home'.
