Is there rent control?
No, the City of Long Beach does not have rent control.  It was voted down by the electorate 3 times.

I want to know my rights as a renter?
With the exception of tenants who have a Section 8 Voucher, the City is not involved in tenant-landlord relationships.  You may wish to contact an attorney.

What types of programs does the City offer to make housing more affordable, and who is eligible to apply?
