 HOUSING TRUST FUND (HTF)
Pursuant to City Council's
direction, the 2003 Housing Trust Fund Study prepared by David Paul Rosen and
Associates has been updated. MuniFinancial, a consulting firm based in
Oakland, CA completed the update in June 2008. HOUSING ACTION PLAN (HAP) The Housing Action Plan (HAP) for fiscal years 2005-2009 was adopted in June 2004 and serves as the framework for the allocation of scarce resources to address the most critical housing needs in the community. The HAP has two main goals:
The City of Long Beach has identified three focus
areas where public investment in housing and neighborhood improvements are seen
as essential. They are as follows: The
Washington School
Focus Area, the
Central Focus Area, and
the
North Long Beach King School
Focus
Area.
